A site for a Toronto travel advisor and her private clientele. The brief was editorial rather than commercial: no prices, no packages, no carousels. A page that reads like a journal you were given rather than a brochure you were sold.

Set in Spectral and Figtree. The rule draws open on load, and the mark takes the colour of whatever it sits on.
What it had to be
Most travel-advisor sites are catalogues. This one sells nothing on the page, because that is not how the business works: journeys are planned in a conversation, and the site's only job is to make someone want to start one. So the type does the persuading, the photography sets the register, and the whole thing is quiet on purpose. The rules were fixed early and held: no prices, no carousels, no emoji, and no dark mode.
How it is built
Next.js and React on Vercel, every page prerendered, content managed in Sanity, and enquiries delivered through Resend. The repository carries its own brand guards in CI: one refuses em-dashes and emoji anywhere in the application, another refuses a new type role unless it has a specimen on the foundation page. Both were tested in their failing direction before they were trusted, because a check that has never been seen to fail is not known to work.
